Mr. Murphy is experienced in initial public offerings, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, turnarounds, restructures and startups.

Tim’s industry experience spans digital media, marketing services, financial services, retail & consumer products.  He has held advisory and executive roles, with a number of companies including: Empire Communities, Canadian Tire Corporation, Part Source, Canadian Tire Financial Services, Canadian Tire Retail, Dominion Bond Rating Service, Alliance Data, Loyalty One, Bank of Montreal, Scotiabank, Royal Bank, CIBC, Vancity Credit Union, Inbev, Labatt, Interactive Corp, Ticketmaster-Citysearch, Torstar, The Toronto Star, Bell Canada Enterprises, Marsh & McLennan, Loblaw Companies Limited, Panalpina, Hydro One, Texaco, Shell Canada.  

Mr. Murphy’s corporate roles include Chief Executive Officer, Executive in Residence, Senior Vice President Corporate Development, Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President Strategic Ventures, Global Director, Operations Director, Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director.  He has received Inbev’s Global President’s Award.  He was instrumental in Torstar’s acknowledgement as Online Innovator of the Year from Editor and Publisher Magazine; and, he accepted Online Retailer of the Year from the Canadian Marketing Association.

Tim has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration & Political Science from Brock University in Canada and he has completed post graduate courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.  He lives in Markham (near Toronto) Canada with the love of his life, Carolyn, and their children.
